about

Quodia, featuring Trey Gunn (King Crimson) and Joe Mendelson (Rise Robots Rise) is a “synthesis of music, theater, video art, and animation; a psychedelic contemporary parable." - BBC Moscow.

Divided into seven chapters, The Arrow weaves an intricate tale with myth-like characters who seem to exist outside of time:

A boy who finds a gold hand, a woman who consumes water to her own undoing, a dark presence that build sculptures in the forest, six plotting birds...

Quodia is a performance group that uses multi-media tools to tell stories. Established by Trey Gunn of King Crimson and Joe Mendelson of Rise Robots, Quodia has toured throughout the world combining the mediums of music, film, sound design, literature and theater into a comprehensive and immersive performance experience. Their approach to storytelling is mythological and archetypical driven by high tech tools: laptops, keyboard, electronic percussion, the Warr Guitar, video projectors and a massive screen.

Performances have taken place in Russia, Norway, Spain, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Mexico and the USA.

"A living, four dimensional poetry."
